Waking up this morning, I found a surprise in my e-mail. One customer wrote about her success with using her new 901 starter kit. A heavy smoker, using oxygen at night, is now down to only 1.5 cigarettes a day using her new alternative e-cigarette. Unable to laugh with her friends without coughing, she is now smiling from ear to ear, with hope that she can finally get off the nasty cigarettes that she has been addicted to now for more than 45 years. She has only been using her Myst 901 starter kit for a week!
We are so proud of her going from 2 packs a day to only 1 and a half cigarettes yesterday. You go girl...there is hope for committed smokers who are making their personal choice to quit.

A Huge Victory for Vapers!!!
Appeals Court: FDA Authority Over E-Cigarettes Is Limited
By Maya Jackson Randall, Of DOW JONES NEWSWIRESThe U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit ruled that the FDA's powers are limited when it comes to regulating e-cigarettes.
The FDA had appealed a federal judge's ruling that the agency doesn't have the authority to regulate electronic cigarettes.
In a case that tests the reach of the federal government's regulatory powers, the FDA said it does have the authority to regulate some products containing nicotine as though they are drugs and devices, such as nicotine patches and nicotine lollipops.
In January, U.S. District Judge Richard J. Leon sided with electronic- cigarette makers Smoking Everywhere Inc. and NJoy in finding that the FDA has no authority to regulate the products and can't stop them from entering the country. His opinion came with a preliminary injunction that allowed Smoking Everywhere and NJoy to continue importing their products into the country.
The FDA has seized shipments of electronic cigarettes, which contain nicotine and look and taste like cigarettes but don't contain tar, amid concerns the products were being marketed as safer alternatives to traditional tobacco. The FDA asserted its power by saying the electronic cigarettes were essentially drugs or devices that were being imported without FDA approval. Regulating the products as drugs or devices means the companies would have to conduct extensive clinical safety testing and apply for formal FDA approval.
Smoking Everywhere and NJoy are trying to avoid that. The companies say their products are used for recreation and, unlike nicotine patches, aren't used as smoking cessation aids.
Leon's decision was based on a Supreme Court case

That case "leaves the FDA without jurisdiction over these products under the FDCA's (Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act) drug/device provisions," the appeals court said in Tuesday's decision.

You Got to Fight... For Your Right... to Vapor!!!
We all know Big Brother is watching us, but we like to think that it is for our protection. Well now there is clear proof that the Government is not out to serve as our protectors, but to pad the pockets of politicians and for-profit companies at the expense of millions, yes millions of lives.
The efforts of the pharmaceutical companies and big tobacco may pay off with the ban of sales of e-cigarettes. The mere refusal to do studies in the US, is a basic admission that they do not want us to know the findings of an honest study. Studies that have been carried out in other countries that have found e-cigarettes to be an effective harm reduction alternative to smoking cigarettes and by far more effective than NRT products on the market today.
It is imperative that you and everyone you know go to the following site and sign the petition. It is only with large numbers of supporters that our voices can be heard. Do not delay, sign it today and tell your friends to sign it as well.
Read the signatures before you sign to see the thousands of people that e-cigarettes have helped. Put your words down so you too can be heard. Alone we are silent, together we can roar.

My Doctor is proud of me
Having quit using tobacco in March by using my e-cigarette instead, my health has improved dramatically. I went for my annual cardiac physical yesterday and my Doctor was amazed that I was able to stop smoking tobacco. I had tried everything including Chantix and Well Butrin, patches, lozenges, gum, hypnosis, acupuncture and laser therapy. None of these methods did the trick plus I gained weight at an amazing rate (10 pounds in the first week alone - how is that possible?)
My blood pressure is way down and now we are cutting the dosage in half and may be able to eliminate it all together. My doctor thought that e-cigarettes were very expensive, so I explained the 901 I was using and the fact that I have saved about $1400 so far that would have went up in smoke. He became a believer with my results that this is indeed an effective reduced harm alternative.
I hope that those of you who are trying to quit, have the chance to try the e-cigarette to help with the process. Every time you use it instead of a tobacco cigarette, you are one less cigarette away from killing yourself.
Good luck to all who are making the conscience decision to quit using tobacco cigarettes...it is your choice to save your life.
Happy Holidays to All!

Clinical Trials Prove Effectiveness and Safety of E-Cigs
LIAF PRESS RELEASE
Electronic Cigarettes: are safe and can help quitting
Professor Riccardo Polosa, of Catania University, leads the only clinical study in Europe, on electronic cigarette effects.
Six hundred delegates from over 170 countries have participated to the "Framework Convention for Tobacco Control”, WHO, World Health Organization (Uruguay, 15-20 November 2010).
After this event, the Italian media have mounted a negative campaign against the electronic cigarette, stating that the electronic cigarette is harmful and useless for smoking cessation. To date, there is no evidence in the medical literature to support this unproven statement and WHO considers appropriate to conduct scientific studies that may clarify efficacy and long term safety of electronic cigarettes.
Prof. Riccardo Polosa, of Catania University, international expert in smoking cessation, is leading the first clinical study in Europe on the effects and safety of electronic cigarettes (CATEGORIA ELETTRONIC CIGARETTE).
"Thorough toxicology testing conducted on these products demonstrates that they are not harmful," says Prof. Polosa, "and participants using the electronic cigarette long term have never reported significant side effects. Therefore, electronic cigarettes may still be considered as a useful low-risk alternative compared to traditional tobacco cigarette.
"Many participants in our pilot study have substantially reduced cigarettes consumption," continues Prof. Polosa, "and some have quit smoking." If this will be confirmed in larger studies, the electronic cigarette
could be adopted by smoking cessation specialists and used to help millions of smokers to quit. There are no sound alarming data or known negative effects of electronic cigarettes and it is hoped that medical research will soon produce data about their efficacy and safety.
The suggestion of LIAF to consumers is to use certified products.

A Time to Share
As the year comes to a close, it is important to remember the past year's milestones as well as the losses. This will help to keep us from making the same mistakes over again and to cherish the accomplishments we have had.
Life is short and our way of life can change in a flash. The economy, the world tension, the planet's own health are all threatening our very existence. Take a look around at the people you love, and be sure to tell them how you feel; tell them that they are loved. Share yourself with those who need a hand-up. Take this small gesture of goodwill and let it grow each day as you help those who cannot help themselves.
This is the time of year to think about the true meaning of the Holidays and spread the love, joy and peace that we are all capable of giving.
We wish you all the most wonderful holiday season.

A New Year's Resolution You Can Keep
I started vaping in March and I have already saved more than $1200 that would have went up in smoke. My life has changed and the stress factors this year have been intense. I am proud of me! Through all that life has thrown at me this year; traumas that most people would have folded under, I have maintained. I quit tobacco and I have survived with the help of my e-cigarettes that I got from Myst Masters.
As a 40 year pack and a half smoker, I never thought I would be able to quit. Even though each morning I coughed up ugly things (while I continued to smoke), I could not laugh out loud without going in to a coughing fit, I kept puffing away on my cigarettes. I tried everything, nothing worked more than 2 weeks and how can someone gain 10 pounds in one week's time?
Someone told me about e-cigaretttes, so I gave it a try. Thank you Myst Masters, you have changed my life. The 901 starter kit I purchased was just that, a starter kit. With this I realized that there was hope for me after all. I did have to buy extra batteries and atomizers to keep up with my demands, but even this was far less expensive than a carton of cigarettes.
I thought starting out with the High (24mg) e-liquid would be the only way for me, a committed heavy smoker to be satisfied. I was wrong, this was too harsh, so I went with the medium strength. I found that I really did not care for the tobacco flavors anymore, this was something that I had brainwashed myself in to thinking was the only flavor to go with. (remember the school yard when you took your first hit off a cigarette? you couldn't let your friend's know how awful you thought it tasted).
Myst Masters had fruit flavors, so I tried the green apple, wow...this is really good. Then I tried the cherry...unbelievable, I can get the nicotine without the nasty taste!!! I tell everyone I know about e-cigarettes and if they choose to quit tobacco, this is a great alternative. I feel better, smell better, no nasty ashtrays sitting around my house which smells fresh now...I am no longer a social outcast.
My freedom is back and I thank Myst Masters and their personal service and advise for helping me to become tobacco free and for having a much bigger xmas budget this year...guess what my smoking friends are getting for xmas this year!
Year after year, I have friends who say they are going to quit smoking as a New Year's resolution...this year, they can finally keep that resolution if they choose to really quit...now they have the tools and really no reason to smoke tobacco cigarettes.
